The main aim of this study is to examine the influence of drilling parameters on Aluminium Metal Matrix Composite (Al7075/10% - SiCp). The Drilling experiments were conducted according to Taguchi L27 orthogonal array on Al7075/10% - SiCp composite with uncoated and coated HSS tools under MQL environment. The input parameters were used is speed, feed, tool material, point angle and cutting environment for 3 levels. This composite is fabricated using 53 μm sized SiC particles reinforced into aluminium matrix material via stir casting process. The surface roughness is considered as experimental result and it is predicted using fuzzy logic. The results specify that the predicted surface roughness values and experimental surface roughness values are close to each other and surface roughness can be predicated efficiently by fuzzy logic modeling technique. Keywords

A new, simple, accurate and sensitive UV - spectrophotometric absorption correction method has been developed for simultaneous determination of amlodipine besylate and olmesartan medoxomil in combined tablet dosage form. Methanol and distilled water were used as solvents. The wavelengths selected for the analysis were 363nm and 258 nm for amlodipine besylate and olmesartan medoxomil, respectively. Beer's law obeyed the concentration range of 1.25- 6.25 μg/ ml and 5 - 25 μg/ml for amlodipine besylate and olmesartan medoxomil respectively. The method was validated stastically.

Urolithiasis is a series of several physicochemical event which includes aggregation, nucleation, growth, supersaturation and retention within the kidneys and it is a complex process. The aim of the present study was to investigate the In silico and In vitro anti-urolithiatic activity of ethanolic extract of Stzygium cumini stem bark. The objective of the present study was to predict the phytoconstituents possibly present in the extract by literature survey, to systematically perform In silco molecular docking studies and to perform Invitro anti urolithiatic activities by Titrimetry, Spectrophotometry and nucleation assay. The protein structure and ligand structures were collected from online databases and the docking studies were performed using HEX8.0 software. The calcium oxalate stones were prepared using homogeneous precipitation technique and the assays were performed using cystone as standard and comparing the results with that of the extract. The Results obtained from the docking studies showed satisfying energy binding values. The results obtained from titrimetric analysis (based on the amount of CaO stones present) for control (0.00087), Standard (0.00526) and extract (0.00067) showed effective results. Similarly, the Spectrometric studies to analyze the amount of CaO present also showed to a peak in between the standard and the control. There were less crystals observed in the extract containing sample compared to that of control in Aggregation assay. Obtained results showed to prove that the Ethanolic extract of Syzygium cumini has a potential urolithiatic activity. Keywords

The present paper focused on the application of fuzzy logic for predicting the surface Roughness (Ra) in drilling of EN24 Steel using uncoated and coated tools. For conducting drilling experiments Taguchi L16 orthogonal array was used. The Taguchi method and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) is employed to find out the influences of machining parameters on surface roughness for their optimization. The machining parameters used in the experiment were drilling speed, feed, tool type and coolant. The obtained experimental results were analyzed and the results revealed that coolant was the prevailing factor on the surface roughness followed by tool type, feed and speed. In addition, the fuzzy predicted values and experimental values of surface roughness are fairly close to each other. Therefore, the developed fuzzy logic model can be effectively used to predict the surface roughness in drilling of EN24 Steel. Keywords
